Our monthly coffee workshops will introduce the skills and knowledge you need to produce quality espresso coffee at home. Utilising our extensive knowledge at Moonshine Coffee, we will give you the skills and know how to produce outstanding espresso coffee at home.

This workshop is for you if

  1. you have your own equipment and would like to improve your daily brew, or

  2. you are considering purchasing some kit to make espresso at home and would like to know more prior to making a decision, or

  3. you may just love great coffee and want to enjoy exploring the how and why of great espresso!

The workshop will last for 6 hours (9.30am – 3.30pm) and groups will be kept small so you get the most out of the experience – a minimum of 4 and maximum of 6.

Together we will explore how coffee is roasted, participate in a traditional cupping to experience the flavours of coffee, and launch into the most effective method of making espresso coffee. We will learn how to texture silky milk to combine with our coffees. For lovers of chai and hot chocolate, there is time to explore these drinks too. We will use full cream cows milk, as well as soy as an alternative.
